God is interested not only in our spiritual and physical, but also our psychological well-being. Worries and anxieties are common emotions. They are necessary for our survival, yet the Bible says that unbelief is evil, and commands us not to fear. Instead, we are commanded to fear God. This seems an apparent contradiction. So, is it wrong to fear?

Christmas has been celebrated for almost 2,000 years.  As we prepare to celebrate Jesus' birth, let us understand the deeper significance of this event. The world, by and large, celebrates Christmas without knowing, nor caring, about the tremendous spiritual forces at work. After thousands of years since promising that He will send the "Seed of Eve" to crush the Serpent's head (Gen.3:15) God ushered in His plan on Earth through sending His Son (the Word), not as a warrior but as a human child through Mary. Satan must have been delighted, and besides himself. he, too, is a careful student of God's Word and had been studying God's every move since the Promise.  How could a child of a woman even hope to take him on, a cherub that was the most beautiful and powerful of God's angelic hosts?

All of us have dreams.  Dreams of becoming or being somebody, or using our gifting to serve a cause / purpose.  But what has happened to this dream which we once held? Many of us had either forgotten about it or had parked it away for various reasons. It can be the timing, season, health, age, financial constrain, family commitments, work, ministry etc..

If we do not gain power over money then money and wealth will seek to have power over us and influen̈ce and control us.

If money and possessions do have power over us then as Christians it doesn't matter how much we tithe and sow and give, God will not bless us financially by giving us more of what has power over us to harm and control us.

The doctrine of divine healing is both controversial and polarising. Some Christian groups believe that it is always God’s will to heal. Other groups state that the miraculous ability to heal was only given to the apostles, and that after their passing, healing gifts were withdrawn from the Church. Between the two extremes are a host of divergent views and perspectives.

In more recent years, the topic of “prophets” and “prophecy” has been hotly debated in the Church, especially following the volume of prophetic words spoken into issues as diverse as the coronavirus pandemic, the US elections, and natural disasters. The Bible is a supernatural book. It transcends our "normal" rational sense in every way. It has accounts of a "talking donkey," a "floating axe-head," a Man walking on water, giants, people coming back from the dead, an angel wiping out an army, sea & river parting, bread from heaven, etc. Unless one believes such accounts literally one's faith in the Bible as the Word of God will be stunted.

Fear, worry and anxiety fill  our world and sadly affect and ruin countless lives. The Bible says almost 400 times Do Not Fear and Do Not Worry or Be Anxious, so why do we do these things and what is their cause?  God has not given us the spirit of Fear so what is it's source and causes and how do we live free and victoriously over these things?

This talk will cover several conditions. While the focus is on Obsessive -Compulsive Disorder (OCD), other related disorders e.g. body dysmorphic disorder and trichotillomania will also be described. Recent community surveys have revealed that the risk of developing Obsessive- Compulsive Disorder (OCD) in Singapore is over 3%.
