What is the secret to the power of God through John Sung and other Christian preachers, evangelists and teachers?

John Sung Shang Chieh / Shangjie (1901 –  1944) was one of the greatest preachers, and evangelists in the world.  He was instrumental in revivals in China, Taiwan and Southeasts Asia (including Singapore) during the 1920s and 1930s.

Was it his early years in Hinghwa, Fukien / Fujian Province of China, the “Foochow” blood that coursed through his blood, the influence of his revivalist father, his education in America’s seminaries leading to advanced degrees which infused his short life with power of the Holy Spirit?

Let’s study how John Sung’s life has parallels to the life of one of the most famous evangelists John Wesley (who also founded the Methodist Church).  Why was Sung once locked up in a mental institution?  Why did John Sung jettison his theological books from America into the Pacific Ocean as he traversed the Pacific Ocean on his return to China?

What was John Sung’s secret?

Through Dr. Ozawa’s preaching and exploration in Hingwha churches in Singapore (Telok Ayer Methodist), in Sitiawan  (Kampong Cina) – Ayer Tawar Methodist  --  in Malaysia and in Foochow churches (Masland Methodist) in Sibu, the story unfolds.

Join us for an exciting exploration!
