We live in a time when all hope in the world seems to have disappeared. There is so much suffering and darkness in our midst, and many people and situations need our earnest prayer. The living God is our only hope and solution to the global and personal problems we face. We should learn to connect with him in the form of prayer and intercession.

Whether we are a beginner in prayer who has only recently felt the call or burden of prayer, or a seasoned intercessor who has been involved in prayer ministry, the learning points and life testimonies shared will encourage us to enter a new realm of prayer and grow in our spiritual and prayer life.

Why do we pray? How do we intercede for others? What is the spiritual posture of a true intercessor? What should we do to prepare ourselves and the church for the Last Days?

Ester will explain biblical principles for prayer and intercession, draw on her rich personal experiences as a prayer warrior who has been standing in the gap for the church of our day for more than 3 decades, and show how a rich and powerful prayer life is key to triumphant Christian living that overcomes the challenges of our fallen world and awaits in faithful anticipation and purpose, for the arrival of a better Kingdom.

This talk will cover 3 parts:
- The true meaning of prayer and intercession
- How to put it into practice
- The battle for the Church

About the speaker
Ester Tanumihardjo was born in Indonesia where she was well-placed in various ministries and led in church. God called her to be His intercessor and in that divine assignment, she prayed at home, abroad, in safe country and in dangerous God-appointed places.

For the past 21 years, she has been living in a Middle East country with her husband and two children who are now young adults. She now assumes the more mundane roles of administrator, writer, teacher, mother and wife in a foreign land, but remains connected to the work of God in the heavenly realm. She and her husband, Amin, live Spirit-led lives as Bible teachers and disciple-makers in a land they now call their home on earth.
