This talk explores the supernatural nature of our Bible hidden in the layout of the 66 chapters (or books) from the Old Testament (Tanakh) to the New Testament by nearly 40 different authors over 1,500 years.

From the giving of the Torah in the first five books (or chapters) of Moses till the last book (or chapter) of Revelation in the New Testament, there is a consistent flow, or plan of God, hidden in the patterns and design. You will understand God’s unique role and plan for Israel, and the Church.

There are many ways we can read the Word of God: we can read the Bible for devotional purpose for our edification; and we can (rather, should) read the Bible in flowing sequence from Genesis to Revelation in order to grasp the overall plan of God. As you read the Bible in this manner, you may miss something that is hidden from your eyes – that there is a picture and plan of God concealed in the very layout of the Bible, and in the arrangement of the chapters (or books).

Once you become aware of this you will realise that God can, and does, communicate with us in a multi-dimensional way that is beyond our three-dimensional perception (or four, if one includes time) of reality in our world. Always be prepared to be surprised at the mystery and miracle of the supernatural Word of God.

About Wan Lai Meng

Born and educated in Singapore, Wan Lai Meng moved to Perth, Australia with his family in 1998. For nearly 30 years he held senior executive positions in several multi-national companies. He became a born-again Christian in 1986, and served in various capacities in the church in Singapore.

 After taking up seminary studies to improve his understanding of the Bible and to minister more effectively in his church, he decided to exit the business world to focus more intensely on the study of God's Word, the Bible, in 1997. Now ministering in small groups he is involved in preaching and teaching in both Singapore and Perth, Australia.

He has spent the last ten years in an intensive study of the Bible and has developed a great love for Israel and the Jewish people. Out of which led him to writing the book ISRAEL A LIGHT UNTO THE NATIONS to illuminate the Church's understanding of Israel and to support and pray for her.
