Raising teens these days is very different from our parents’ generation.
As much as parents want to do their best for their teens, many of us have also been hurt and felt discouraged along this parenting journey.
In this talk, Alice will share with us her personal journey in raising her then teens. When writing the book ‘Building Bridges with Your Teenagers’ then, she discovered the importance of parents’ need to understand that our expectations of our children can differ vastly from that of the teens. Likewise, the respect between the parent and the child.
Participants will be given practical tips on how to know our teens’ expectation. And how we can manage our expectations and build a healthy relationship with our teens through mutual trust and respect.
