Mental Illness & mental health is a hot topic these days. It needs to be normalized and not stigmatized. In this pandemic age, we need a greater awareness of self-care. A new and healthy normal on mental health care is needed both for the sufferer and the caregiver more so for those who suffer from depression and suicidal tendencies.

About Sharon Khoo
As an ex-sufferer of mental illness who has been healed by the grace of God, Sharon Khoo cares about passing on what she’s been blessed with by helping those like her and their caregivers. Her newly published book HOPE IN DESPAIR is birthed out of her passion to help others on their journey to recovery.
Born & raised in Singapore and living in Thailand since 2010 with her present family as missionaries, she is a certified Pastoral Counsellor, the co-founder of Forerunners Ministry where she mentors, teaches, counsels and disciples others in Thailand together with her husband. She is honoured to call both countries home and loves chocolate, spicy food & durians!
