Many parents and church leaders are observing a trend of young people leaving church especially once they reach their teenage years. Excuses like "church is boring', "I have too much homework " and "I couldn't wake up" are all too commonly heard.
Deeply genuinely concerned ones would often get into a tug-of-war argument about the need for church-going.
In this workshop, a team of church leaders of youth and young adults add their perspectives from their personal experiences as we discuss the root issues of poor church attendance. We will be having a lively discussion with insightful questions and answers.
The panel is led by Kenny Tan, an ex-youth pastor, a young adults mentor and a missionary in Cambodia. In the team is Rachel Yong, a current MOE teacher and church youth mentor. Sean Yong is a church youth leader and volunteers at YGOS, an organisation that reaches out to Youth-At-Risk.

About Kenny Rason Tan
Kenny Rason Tan is the founder of "Freedom in Sonship House" (www.freedominsonship.org) - a ministry that mentors young men and women into their prophetic destinies. He is also a full-time missionary trained and equipped in Canada. The Canadian Church leadership commissioned him into missions in Europe and various parts of Asia.
Kenny ministers effectively in the Father’s love, thereby bringing people into their sonship.
