Jesus declared, "... You cannot serve God and Money." (Mat 6:24, ESV) The apostle Paul remarked, "For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil..." (1Tim 6:10 ESV)
Yet, every businessman knows that money is the lifeblood of business. Can a business owner follow Christ and yet become successful? Does the Bible encourage or discourage Christians to own and run a business?
In this talk, the biblical facts about finance, business & the marketplace will be clearly presented. We will look deep into the Parable of the Dishonest Manager and The Rich Man and Lazarus (Luke 16) as Jesus reveals the truth of how to stay devoted to God and yet use money in business to generate "true riches."
We will share some application of this truth from the books "Business By The Book - The Complete Guide of Biblical Principles for the Workplace" by Larry Burkett and "Management: A Biblical Approach" by David C. Cooke.
We will then hear some personal insights of Kingdom business from "Business Unlimited - Memories of the Coming Kingdom" by Gunnar Olson, founder of the Internationnal Christian Chamber of Commerce (ICCC).

Chasing worldly success and having "life abundantly" in Christ is impossible. Tard & Felicia discovered this timeless truth when God challenged them: stop trying to lead God and start learning to be led by Him instead.
Together with their 5 kids, Tard & Felicia embarked on a 10-year equipping journey with zero income serving ex-offenders and families-at-risk.
