God is interested not only in our spiritual and physical, but also our psychological well-being. Worries and anxieties are common emotions. They are necessary for our survival, yet the Bible teaches us that we are not to fear, nor be anxious. This seems an apparent contradiction. Come and discover the answer to this apparent paradox as Dr. Leslie addresses the following and other topics:
- Generalised anxiety disorder, panic disorder & phobias -unique clinical features, socio-demographic characteristics of these conditions
- The nature of fear and worry and its relation to clinical anxiety
- The Anxiety-Prone Personality
- How normal fears can open the doors to unseen powers
- How the kiasu mentality came about and what to do about it
- How to pull down the strongholds of fear
- When God seems absent
There will be Q&A and a panel discussion moderated by Ps Chua Seng Lee, Deputy Senior Pastor of BBTC. Inspiring testimonies of those who overcame their anxieties God’s way will be featured too.
