Jesus’ current full time job is an intercessor, according to Hebrews 7:25. How much more His followers must pattern after that position and passion with the same heartbeat!
The authority and longevity of an intercessor depends on the character of the praying priest and warrior.
Who qualifies to build the House of the Lord through worship and intercession?
What are core values of an intercessor and what is the blend of his heart?
In this talk, we will focus on the aggregate of character qualities that sustain effective intercession and the foundational element: the Fear of God.
About Jean Wong
Jean is a teacher by training and a home maker by choice. In 1980, she felt impressed by the Lord to “travel on her knees”, a call to prioritise intercession in her life.
Over the years, she has been an apprentice with others in international and local group and closet prayer, networking with intercessors from many parts of the world and joining in prophetic prayer assignments. In the course of her husband's work as a diplomat, they lived for some years in various countries. In Indonesia, the highlight was prophetic declaration of the Word over the land. In Myanmar, she catalysed the unity movement through the Festival of Praise and promoted prayer for Israel.
Her passion is to mobilize and mentor people in prayer and intercession. Jean and Leong Jeam have 3 married children and 5 grandchildren.
