Whatever our views of the purposes and methods of education might be, it is common for children and parents to feel anxious and stressed about not achieving success at school.
We look at three key aspects :TRUST, AWARENESS & ACTIVATION of peace-full teaching to learn the skills of connecting with children through persistence and listening.
About Phillip Towndrow
Dr Phillip A Towndrow is a teacher, teacher-educator and educational researcher. Over the past 30 years, he has worked in a variety of institutions including private academies and universities in Europe, the Middle East and South East Asia. He is married and has an adult son and a teenage daughter.
Phillip serves as a lay leader in a Singapore church and aims—whenever and wherever possible—to teach and learn in ways that glorify God and extend his Kingdom. Phillip has taught a number of Christian Education courses, and regularly conducts workshops, seminars and talks on language teaching, parenting and values.
His latest book is WALKING WITH GOD AS A CHRISTIAN PARENT - Developing Wisdom for the 21st Century. His earlier books include WALKING WITH GOD AS A CHRISTIAN EDUCATOR and EDUCATION AND SOCIETY.
