On 11 September 1935, a huge cross appeared over our skies. What does that say of a city that has made exceptional strides in the last five decades?
We will take a closer look at how God has intimately watched over this city as we enter 2017. This interactive talk seeks to help us keep counting our blessings , choose to be grateful for all things and find an occasion to give thanks even for the smallest detail of our lives.
'The Lord is our keeper,He is your shade at your right hand.' Psalms 121:5
About Wee Lay Ching
Wee Lay Ching is a third generation believer in her family. The gospel came to her father's household when John Sung preached at Telok Ayer Chinese Methodist Church in 1935.
Her grandfather, like many migrant Chinese heard from John Sung personally. An awakening came to her that led her to research her own heritage when the Holy Spirit reminded her of the miraculous death-bed conversion of her late grandfather, 50 years after he heard the gospel through Sung San Chieh ( John Sung ).
She worships at St Andrew's Cathedral Mandarin Congregation.
