THE SEED WARS - God's Plan for World Redemption
Why has Israel been the target for annihilation from the beginning of time? From Pharaoh to Haman to Herod to Hitler, she is still being threatened today. It is because in Genesis 3:15 God promised that the seed of the woman would destroy the seed of the serpent. In this seminar, we will trace the attempts of Satan to destroy the seed by destroying the nation that held the seed and through whom the seed will return to rule over all the earth.
Part 1
Journey through time beginning at the Garden of Eden and God's prophecy of enmity between the seed of Eve and the seed of the serpent. In spite of Satan's attempts to destroy the seed, God created a nation out of Abraham, through whom the promised seed would be delivered to the world.
Part 2
The prototype of the Kingdom of God, the nation of Israel. A journey through Israel's history up to the time when she became subject to the Persian Empire. Throughout this time we see the attempts of Satan to destroy the nation and the seed that it carried.
Part 3
The arrival of the Promised Seed Yeshua. Yeshua died and rose again but the enemy still continue to attempt to destroy the kingdom and even using the church to come against Israel.
Part 4
The rise of Islam as a world political power and also a further look into the church's relationship with Israel, ending in Russia and the pogroms that were carried out against the Jews.
Part 5
The world wars and the holocaust which led to the rebirth of the state of Israel and finally to see the prophetic role of Israel in the end-times with the return of Messiah.
About Gilbert Carthigasu
Gilbert Carthigasu received Jesus as his Lord and Saviour in 1985. Married to Almena, whom he met at Youth With A Mission in 1987, they have 3 adult children . They served as senior pastors of Shekinah Foursquare Church from 1989 – 2014 and Pastor Gilbert also served as the National Representative of the Foursquare Church of Singapore from 2007 - 2011.
They received a revelation of God’s heart for Israel in 1999 through a Passover celebration led by Rev. Joel Baker. In 2003 God began to open doors for Gilbert to speak to groups of pastors on the subject of the Hebraic roots of our faith. In 2006 to better equip himself for this new ministry Gilbert attended the School of Jewish Studies conducted by Youth With a Mission in Richmond, Virginia, USA.
In 2007 they founded One New Man Asia, a ministry dedicated to helping Christians understand our roots in Israel and to connect the church with Israel. Over the years he has conducted seminars and teaching sessions in Singapore and other parts in Asia.
One New Man Asia is the National co-ordinator for the Day to Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem, an annual event aimed at getting Christians from all parts of the body of Christ to gather on the first Sunday of October every year to pray for Israel and the Jewish people. It is part of the Asia Messianic Forum, a fellowship of believers who stand with and support the work of the Messianic body in Israel.
