Many of us wonder whether Chinese who become Christians can continue to observe some of the Chinese traditions and beliefs, or have to forego them entirely! These include practices associated with major Chinese festivals, weddings, funerals, ancestral worship, as well as traditional Chinese medical treatment.
To please God, while yet maintaining our Chinese heritage, is something all Christians of Chinese ethnicity struggle with. This seminar will present some principles with which we may better hold this tension, and apply the same to festivals like Chinese New Year and Qing Ming, along with various practices associated with these festivals.
